PTC Events for 2016-2017

October:
Eliot Pumpkin Run ‚Äď Saturday, 10/22/16
A wonderful opportunity for you to bring the whole family to our playground for some exercise and playtime.  Mr. Brenhiser sets up a run/walk course around our playground and encourages the kids, parents and teachers to complete as many laps as possible.  There are free pumpkins for everyone.
Volunteers help procure pumpkin donations, help to set up lap course and clean up at the end.

November:
Fairytale Fitness 11/4/16 6:30 PM
An event especially popular with our younger grades.  Kids come dressed as their favorite fairytale character and participate in fitness events in the gym run by our gym teacher, Mr. Brenhieser and volunteers.
Volunteers help to set-up, run the activities, and with clean up at the end.

January:
Family Fun Night 1/6/2017
A big fun completely social event for both parents and kids!
Volunteers collect admission, plan fun activities, serve pizza and refreshments, and clean up at the end.

February: 3/1/2017
The 4th & 5th Grade Spelling Bee
A spelling competition among teams of fourth and fifth grade students.
Volunteers assist with prize solicitation, collecting and serving refreshments and help the night of the event.

February:
Check it Out Science 2/11/ 2017
This is a one day event which allows participants to enjoy hands on science experiences at a variety of different booths.
Volunteers help plan and coordinate the day and run the event, snack bar and admissions.

March:
Eliot/Hillside Basketball Game 3/17/17
This is a great opportunity for students to show their Eliot spirit while teachers and parents showcase their talent in a fun basketball game against Hillside teachers and parents.
Volunteers are needed to play on the team, help plan the event, collect tickets, sell spirit ware and refreshments.

May:
Eliot’s Got Talent!  School Talent Show 5/13/2017
A fun night featuring students showcasing a talent.
Volunteers organize the event, collect admission and serve refreshments.

June:
The Eliot School Picnic 6/8/2017
Held at the end of the school year on the school grounds.
Volunteers plan the event, set up and clean up.
